Whenever Somnia gets destroyed, collections of unfulfilled promises and unresolved conflicts get left behind and form mutated blood cells inside the reality veins. Occasionally, these blood cells will clump together to form treacherous labyrinths within the veins known as ‘bloodclots’. If they are left inside the veins for too long, it’ll cause a blood vessel to burst, thus creating a new location in Somnia.
For Nite, this only makes the bloodstream harder to traverse.
