As the carbon shell melts over the extraction fluid, it will spread hollowmatter inside which will then be mixed with the interia hormone spreading from Onyx’s body. Once a layer of the carbon shell is fully formed, it will compress the mixture into the tubes connected to Onyx and secrete the excess fluid in preparation for the next layer.
